Demon Cop!!!

Matt's joined by regular guest Jacob Balcom and his cousin Seth Garon, who returns to talk about DEMON COP, the Blood Meridian or The Sound and the Fury of psychotronic auteur films. Demon Cop seems to be the tragic story of a widower who becomes the host of a demon of retribution & changes into a beast with the moon to stalk the members of Denver/Aurora Hills gangs. A virtually impenetrable web of exposition, non-sequitur scenes, and kaleidoscopic plot that simply must been seen to be believed.

Ep50 - Robo Vampire

Back to our regularly scheduled mayhem...

TCTT is back, folks! To kick off the return, Matt talked to Joe and special guest Zack Kruse about an odd little duck Zack discovered: 1988's ROBO VAMPIRE, a Robocop rip-off with some HK horror twists. This movie looks like it escaped from 12-year-old kid's fevered dreams and must be seen to be believed.

Get the new episode from iTunes or from HERE.

Then head over to Bandcamp to get the new Minders album, featuring TCTT's own Joe Kincher! It's the band's first album in 10 years and it was well worth the wait. Highly recommended!

DEATH BED: THE BED THAT EATS

Scott couldn't join us this week, but Jason Farrell was there to fill his moccasins while we discussed the bewildering, lost '70s classic DEATH BED. This film was made over a period of years in the '70s and never widely released. It had its first official home video release in 2003. We had a blast with this at times sleazy, at times arty oddball. Get it on iTunes or here (right-click and 'save as').
"Would you rather have anatomy-class skeleton hands for hands or elbows for ears?"

"Hey, bed, you eat-uh my soldier, I break-uh you face!"

ABBY podcast (or, "Is There a Blaxorcist in the House?")

We are proud to present our Abby episode. Available on iTunes and on its Libsyn page.

Sadly, this is Eshu's good side...

Tell us your favorite "blaxploitation" film in the comments for this post.

NEXT UP: DEADLY PREY
A group of sadistic mercenaries kidnap people off the streets and set them loose on the grounds of their secret camp, so the "students" at the camp can learn how to track down and kill their prey. Yet another adaptation of the story "The Most Dangerous Game" with some Vietnam vet First Blood & Rambo: First Blood Part II thrown in there. Get ready to fall in love with the '80s all over again.
